(This service is mainly for members of Nagoya university.)

Library staff provide guidance about usage and assistance in investigating information or materials. Depending on the content, it may take some time to respond.

The following is acceptable questions/consultations.

  • How to use the library
  • How to find materials on specific topic
  • How to find out about a specific subject (event, case, person, etc.)
  • How to use databases and electronic journals
  • Introduction of related institutions
  • Holding information, bibliographic information, and how to obtain materials

The following is unacceptable questions/consultations.

  • Something related to personal privacy
  • Matters involving highly specialized knowledge (legal advice, medical counseling, medication, etc. )
  • Invastigations for those that do not have a rational search method.
  • Investigations that require significant expense or time.
  • Acting over survey or research
  • Introduction of reserchers
