Nagoya University Academic Data Policy
On October 20, 2020, Nagoya University established the "Nagoya University Academic Data Policy". It prescribes basic rules regarding the management, publication, and utilization of academic data at Nagoya University.

Nagoya University Open Access Policy
On April 19, 2016, Nagoya University established the Nagoya University Open Access Policy. It calls for Nagoya University faculty and staff members to make their academic papers (including co-authored papers) widely available to the public free of charge whenever possible.

Research data covered by the Academic Data Policy can be registered and published in Nagoya University's academic institutional repository (“NAGOYA Repository”). For details about registration and publication, please click here.

- Due to server capacity, there may be cases where the data cannot be processed, such as if the data size is too large.
- The decision whether or not to publish research data is left to the researcher's discretion.

Data publishing on disciplinary or commercial repositories
NAGOYA Repository is not the only place to publish research data. Below are some types of data repositories that collect, store, and publish research data and any associated programs.
- Disciplinary Repositories: Repositories that compile data in a specific research field.
- General-purpose Repositories: Repositories that are open to data in all research fields.

There are a variety of factors to consider when choosing a data repository, such as the details of your research, the purpose of data publication, the publication requirements of the agencies funding your research, and the policies of the journal you submitted to. It is important to use a repository that is appropriate to your needs.

- Please use an online storage service such as NUSS.
Is there a limit on the file size?
- If the total size exceeds 150MBm please contact us in advance.
Is there anything I should be careful of when I share my data in the repository?
- Please confirm copyrights and other rights before the application.
