Newly Acquired Humanities and Social Sciences Databases

We have newly introduced the following databases that are useful for research and study in the fields of humanities and social sciences.
Please make use of them for classes, research, and report writing.

■ Wiley Digital Archives   Royal Geographical Society Part 2

(Coverage: 1900–2010)
This is a digitized archive of materials held by the Royal Geographical Society.
It contains numerous primary sources on exploration, geography, imperial history, environment, and international relations, mainly from the 20th century.
It is valuable not only for geography but also for research in history, regional studies, and the social sciences.

■ Environmental History   Conservation and Public History in America, 1870–1980

This database contains materials related to nature conservation, environmental policy, and public history in the United States from the late 19th century to the late 20th century.
You can view primary sources useful for research on environmental history, pollution issues, policy history, and social movements.

■ Declassified Documents Online   Twentieth Century British Intelligence I

This database contains declassified documents related to British intelligence agencies in the 20th century.
It allows users to examine policy decisions and international affairs of the time using primary sources in fields such as diplomatic history, international political history, security studies, and intelligence history.
