The Central Library will host a language exchange event where participants can practice conversational English and Japanese. We welcome participants of all language levels, so please feel free to join us.

Let's Talk in Japanese & English! Book Talk Edition

Read an extensive reading book during the event and share your thoughts and impressions in both English and Japanese. No preparation is required. This event is ideal for anyone who would like to practice expressing their ideas and opinions.

Let's Talk in Japanese & English! Minecraft Edition

Spend the first 30 minutes speaking Japanese and the second 30 minutes speaking English while enjoying conversation and interacting with others in the world of Minecraft. This event is recommended for those who would like to start with simple conversations.
